Treme Courtyard

Residential Courtyard

This courtyard captures every drop of rain which is diverted from a 1200 square foot home, creating a lush oasis of biodiversity. Designed as an outdoor room, space is defined with architectural elements which allow for hanging plants and lighting, green walls and a framed view of the live oak tree. Salvaged materials create unique features, recycled bricks are used to create a permeable patio, and pallets are repurposed to create a low cost green wall that wraps the perimeter of the space.
